APRIL 9, 2018 - CHICO, CA: The Chico Heat today got a new look on Monday, not a new logo or new uniforms but with a redesign of its official website, www.chicoheat.com. The new site was created in partnership with one of the top industry leader Infinity Sports & Entertainment. In addition to doing the Heat website, Infinity also does the website for the Great West League as well as the Lincoln Potters, the Medford Rogues and the Yuba Sutter Gold Sox.
A complete facelift of its predecessor, the new site features an updated look and layout that is consistent with several other teams in our league and throughout summer collegiate baseball. The new site will be the complete online source for all Chico Heat news including general information, ticket information, press releases, rosters, schedules, results, social media, live stats, history and pictures. The site will also be more user friendly for those fans who visit the website via their mobile devices.
“The decision to use Infinity Sports & Entertainment to help create the new Heat website was an easy decision for the organization,” said Mike MacCulloch of CSH International. “They have a great platform and backend CMS is a lot easier for our front office staff to work with. In this digital age, information changes fast and having worked with them for several years on other websites made the decision even easier.”
Infinity Sports & Entertainment is a Texas-based digital agency founded in 1998, they have designed and developed over 1,000 websites for professional sports, venues, entertainment and hospitality organizations. They provide professional web services from custom back-end systems, online commerce for merchandise, mobile apps, unique graphic packages, email marketing, social sharing, to video & audio streaming.
“In redesigning this site we put a lot of focus on our fans and how they access information about our team” said Heat General Manager Hunter Hampton. “We hope that everyone is as excited about the new Chico Heat website as much as we are excited launching it. As the Heat get ready for their third season in the GWL, it is important that we continue to work towards creating more in-depth content areas where fans can interact and get to know more about our team, its players and our involvement in the community.”
